Expertise. Experience. Depth. Breadth.

This Master Class is taught by Chris Wilkinson, a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe with deep knowledge and broad practice in labor and employment law (including equal pay issues).

As a partner in the firm's Employment Law group, Chris maintains a broad practice in labor and employment, health and safety, government relations and administrative law.

Most recently, he  served as Associate Solicitor for Civil Rights and Labor-Management. In that role, he was the senior career civil rights and labor management lawyer for the Department of Labor providing advice on regulatory, policy and enforcement matters for seven DOL agencies including the Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Civil Rights Center and Office of Labor Management Standards.

Why this class?

Employers are subject to a broad and complex patchwork of mandates that make it easier for employees to ask about pay, see where their employer stands and bring a claim based on any shortcomings. And the #MeToo movement has only added fuel to these concerns. This class provides a 360-degree view that will address the legal, administrative and cultural implications of this environment, and instruct employers on how best to protect themselves and thrive.
